Instacart Expands Online SNAP Acceptance to Reach 96% of SNAP Households Nationwide with Same-day Grocery Delivery
Instacart announced a series of retail expansions that will help make groceries more accessible to SNAP families, allowing them to save time and maximize their budgets. Instacart now offers online SNAP acceptance from more than 170 retail banners spanning more than 14,000 stores, reaching 96% of SNAP households in the U.S.

How Instacart is Helping Military Families Put Nutritious Food on the Table
Instacart is dedicated to helping every family access the nutritious food they need —and that certainly includes those who serve our country. Today, one in six military and veteran families experience food insecurity or hunger, higher than the national average (12%). That’s why we’re announcing a new partnership with the Military Family Advisory Network (MFAN), a national nonprofit dedicated to supporting military and veteran families, to provide free groceries and delivery to military families immediately following relocation to U.S. Army Fort Cavazos in Texas.

Shoppers are an integral part of the Instacart community. Every day, they help their communities share love through food. We’re committed to providing approximately 600,000 Instacart shoppers the same level of support they give customers every day. This includes:

- A safety toolkit including real-time safety alerts
