Preparation: Collards can be cooked with other greens or singly with traditional southern fixings or in versatile new recipes. These slightly bitter greens are a great side or main dish for any meal. Cooking Method: Wilt: In large covered pot (amount broth/water needed to keep from sticking while cooking); Collard Greens 2 lbs: 15-20 minutes (about 1-2 cups). Boil: Boil in broth or water until tender; Collard Greens 2 lbs: 15-20 minutes. Microwave: Covered microwave-safe container (vented), stir once; Collard Greens 2 lbs: 13-15 minutes for 1 pound (do in 2 batches); rinse and drain greens first.
