The GlenDronach Allardice 18-Year-Old is a fitting tribute to the founder of our distillery. Matured in fine Oloroso sherry casks from AndalucÃa in Spain, this richly sherried Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky presents exquisite complexity, with dark treacle, allspice and walnut carrying on into the long, lingering finish. This smooth scotch is bottled at 46%, non-chill filtered and natural in colour.

We are renowned as the masters of sherry cask maturation and GlenDronach is a true Highland style. Recognized for deep color and rich flavour profiles, GlenDronach is perfect for long term maturation in sherry casks ranging from sweet fruity flavours from the Pedro Ximenez casks to the dry and nutty notes from superb Oloroso casks.
The spirit stills have a unique saxophone shape and descending lyne arm allowing very little distillate to fall back, capturing a more robust spirit, resulting in a rich Highland style.
Our well-kept secrets have been guarded for nearly 200 years by a parliament of rooks who love The GlenDronach so much they try to nest in the warehouses. The distillery folk believe as long as the rooks remain at the distillery, it will be good for the scotch whisky.
