Sierra® Antifreeze + Coolant is a premium automotive coolant that provides excellent engine protection in four key areas:• Freeze-up protection.• Boil-over protection.• Corrosion prevention.• Heat transfer.
Sierra Antifreeze + Coolant meets all the requirements of ASTM D3306, the industry standard for propylene glycol coolants.
Sierra's propylene glycol formulation makes it less toxic than conventional ethylene glycol based antifreeze, so it's safer for people, pets and wildlife in the environment. Sierra Antifreeze + Coolant reduces the risk of accidental poisoning resulting from spills, leaks or boil-overs. To achieve maximum benefits from Sierra Antifreeze + Coolant, be sure to flush the cooling system of all ethylene glycol based coolant. Even though Sierra is less toxic than conventional antifreeze, use with care. Clean up any leaks or spills.

DirectionsCaution: Do not remove radiator cap when engine is hot. Check owner's manual for specified antifreeze usage.1. Open radiator drain valve. Add fresh water into top of radiator. Flush cooling system for 10 minutes with engine running and heater on high until discharge runs clear.2. Stop engine, drain radiator, and close value.3. Check owner's manual for cooling system capacity. Fill with enough new Sierra Antifreeze + Coolant to achieve a 50–60% concentration of antifreeze.4. Run engine 10 minutes with heater on high. When engine has cooled, check freeze protection with a propylene glycol antifreeze tester. Add more Sierra Antifreeze + Coolant or water to radiator as necessary.5. Periodically check radiator and reservoir levels. Top off with 50/50 mixture of Sierra/water as needed.To maintain optimum corrosion protection, replace Sierra Antifreeze + Coolant as specified by vehicle manufacturer.
