Instacart and Sephora Launch Same-Day Delivery Across North America
Instacart has become part of the household rhythm for people across North America looking to have the groceries and goods they need delivered same-day from the retailers they know and love. Our foundation and focus has always been and remains rooted in grocery, but we’ve seen that for many people the essentials they need go beyond fresh food and pantry staples.
Over the last few years, we’ve seen an increase in customer demand across a number of products ranging from heath and wellness to electronics and office supplies. We’re committed to exploring strategic partnerships that add more value to our marketplace and provide even more selection and choice to customers. We’ve done this to-date by offering alcohol delivery from more than 150 partners across 23 states and Washington, D.C., office and school supplies from Staples, household goods and essentials from Walmart and Big Lots, prescription delivery from Costco, pet supplies from Petco, health and wellness products from The Vitamin Shoppe, convenience items from 7-Eleven and, now, beauty and personal care items from Sephora.
Today, Instacart announced a new partnership with Sephora to offer same-day delivery in as fast as an hour from nearly all Sephora store locations across North America. We’re excited to welcome Sephora to Instacart, bringing more selection to customers looking for seamless, same-day delivery from their favorite beauty retailer. Sephora has unrivaled product choice — from emerging brands to trusted favorites — a leading rewards program and an inspiring shopping experience that we’re bringing to life on the Instacart marketplace.

Sephora is now available on the Instacart marketplace across select store locations in California and Canada, and we’ll expand to more than 400 stores over the coming weeks. Customers will now be able to have Sephora’s expansive selection of makeup, skincare, haircare, wellness, beauty tools and fragrances delivered at same as in-store pricing. As part of the new partnership, customers will also be able to access select promotions from Sephora’s best-in-class Beauty Insider program and earn points on every Sephora order placed on the Instacart marketplace.
Instacart partners with more than 400 of the most beloved local, regional and national grocery retailers to deliver from more than 30,000 store locations across 5,500 cities in North America. Instacart is accessible to more than 85% of households in the U.S. and more than 70% of households in Canada. Since March, Instacart has launched with nearly 150 additional retailers and introduced delivery from more than 8,000 new stores across the U.S. and Canada. Whether customers need a few last minute essentials or a full fridge and pantry restock, Instacart makes it easy for consumers to connect to the retailers they love and get the goods they need delivered in as fast as an hour.
