Decide How Much You Want: Each serving equals about 2/3 cup. 2 Servings: 2/3 cup water; 1 tbsp butter (or margarine or olive oil); 1/4 tsp salt (optional); 1/3 cup milk; 2/3 cup potato flakes. 4 Servings: 1-1/4 cups water; 2 tbsp butter (or margarine or olive oil); 1/2 tsp salt (optional); 2/3 cup milk; 1-1/3 cups potato flakes. 6 Servings: 1-3/4 cups water; 3 tbsp butter (or margarine or olive oil); 3/4 tsp salt (optional); 1 cup milk; 2 cups potato flakes. 12 Servings: 3-1/2 cups water; 6 tbsp butter (or margarine or olive oil); 1-1/4 tsp salt (optional); 2 cups milk; 4 cups potato flakes.
