Cooking Directions: 1. In a 6-8-quart stock pot over high heat, bring 4-6 quarts of water to a rolling boil. Add salt, if desired. 2. Add desired amount of pasta to boiling water; stir gently. Return to a boil. 3. Boil, uncovered, stirring occasionally, 8-10 minutes for al dente pasta (firm to the bite); continue boiling 1 minute longer for more tender pasta. 4. Remove from heat; drain well. Serve immediately as desired. High altitude - above 3500 feet: cooking times may need to be increased slightly.
