Cooking Instructions: Microwave (1,100 watt microwave): Setting: High. Leave plastic film on tamale. Place tamale on microwaveable safe plate. Frozen: 2 minutes, 30 seconds. Let tamale cool for 1 minute before eating. Remove parchment paper prior to serving. Steamer: Bring water to boil in a steamer with a drain rack. Place desired amount of tamales in steamer. Do not pack tamales too tight. Cover and steam on medium heat until core temperature is 165 degrees F. Frozen: 1 hour, 30 minutes. Let tamale cool for 1 minute before eating. Remove the parchment paper prior to serving. For food safety and quality, internal product temperature must reach 161 degrees F. Since ovens vary, cooking times may require adjusting. Caution: Product may be hot.
