Directions
Preparation: You Will Need: 1-1/3 cups water; 2/3 cup 2% milk; 2 tablespoons margarine or butter; 1 package Essential Everyday Angel Hair Pasta with Parmesan Cheese & Sauce. Stovetop: 1. In a 2-quart saucepan over Medium heat bring water, milk and margarine or butter to a boil. 2. Stir in pasta and sauce packet; continue boiling 4-5 minutes or until pasta is tender, stirring frequently. 3. Remove from heat. Sauce will be thin; let stand 3-5 minutes to thicken. Microwave Oven: 1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine water, milk and margarine or butter. Microwave (High) 4-5 minutes (microwave ovens vary; adjust cooking time accordingly) or until boiling. 2. Stir in pasta and sauce packet; microwave 1 minute. Stir; continue microwaving 3-4 minutes (microwave ovens vary, adjust cooking time accordingly) or until pasta is tender. 3. Sauce will be thin; let stand 3-5 minutes to thicken. Caution: Product and container may be hot. Refrigerate unused portion. Less Fat: Prepare according to package directions using 3/4 cup skim milk and 2 teaspoons margarine. Reduces total fat from 14 g to 7 g per serving.
