It is strong but not impervious to rapid temperature changes or impact. Like any bottle, it will expand and crack if left in the freezer or hit with boiling water. Do not put our beverage bottles in the freezer or use with boiling water. This bottle is designed to minimize direct impact on glass if dropped. However, if glass is broken or chipped, discontinue use and discard glass in a recycling bin. Bottle, lids and silicone base are all dishwasher safe.
