a2 Platinum® premium infant formula has been formulated for tiny tummies with milk containing the A2 protein sourced from cows that naturally produce milk with only the A2 beta-casein protein type which may be easier on digestion and help some avoid discomfort. Our cows are not treated with growth hormone rBST (no significant difference has been shown between milk from rBST-treated and non rBST-treated cows). This formula may be used from birth, when your baby is older than 12 months try a2 milk whole cows’ milk.

Directions

Storage: Do not use if foil seal is damaged or missing. Refer to use by date on base of this can. Store in a cool, dry place. Prolonged storage at excessive temperatures should be avoided. After opening, remove foil seal completely and discard. Use a sterile utensil to find and remove the scoop enclosed in the can. Always close lid immediately after use. Use contents within 4 weeks of opening. Can fill is by weight, not volume. Some settling of powder can occur during transportation and distribution.

Mixing Guide: To Make Approx: 2 Fl Oz Bottle: 2 fl oz (60 ml) measure water (fl oz or ml); 1 unpacked level scoop (1 unpacked level scoop = 9 g of powder) add powder. 4 Fl Oz Bottle: 4 fl oz (60 ml) measure water (fl oz or ml); 2 unpacked level scoops add powder. 6 Fl Oz Bottle: 4 fl oz (120 ml) measure water (fl oz or ml); 3 unpacked level scoops add powder. 8 Fl Oz Bottle: 8 fl oz (240 ml) measure water (fl oz or ml); 4 unpacked level scoops add powder. This is a general mixing guide only. Infants at various ages may need more or less formula. Newborn babies may not drink the full made-up amount in the first weeks. For a more accurate feeding guide, please consult your baby's doctor or pediatrician for advice. Infants over 6 months should begin to try solid foods as part of ongoing development. Cup Feeding Guidelines: Introduce a baby feeding cup at around 6 months old, to teach your baby the skill of sipping from a cup. Dental Hygiene: Avoid putting your baby to sleep with a bottle, as it can lead to tooth decay. Directions for Use: Always wash hands with soap and water and dry using a clean cloth. Clean the preparation surface thoroughly before preparing the formula. Clean all feeding equipment in hot soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Next, sterilize all 2-feeding equipment by submerging bottles, nipples and lids in a pan of water and boiling for 5 minutes, or using an approved sterilizer. Boil safe drinking water and allow to cool for 30 minutes. Refer to the mixing guide instructions on this can check how much powder and 4 water is needed. Pour the correct amount of previously boiled (now cooled) water into the sterilized bottle. Use only the enclosed scoop, fill scoop and 5 level off using the built-in leveler on the can. Avoid compacting powder. 6 add the exact amount of powder to the water in the bottle. Cap the bottle and mix thoroughly by shaking gently or swirling the bottle to dissolve the powder. 7 check temperature of the formula on the inside of your wrist before feeding. It should feel warm, but cool is better than too hot. Feed your baby immediately. Discard any formula that has not been consumed within 1 hour. Each bottle should be prepared individually and used immediately. If a bottle of made up formula is to be stored prior to use, it must be refrigerated and used within 24 hours. Never use a microwave for any formula preparation or to warm-up formula.
