14.16 lt (0.50 cu ft). Natural bug repellant. Fire pits. Chimineas. Fireplaces. Campfires. Not for cooking. Also great for fireplaces & campfires! Harvesting Guidelines: This wood has been harvested under the strict guidelines as required by the National Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management. Program Goals: The clearing of our pinon and other trees for the purpose of forest fire prevention. Wildlife enhancement due to more area for grass and other food sources to grow. During the harvest, much underbrush is removed and many times chipped and mulched, then spread back on the land to prevent erosion. Harvested in Catron County. Produced in Clovis, NM 88101. This wood has been heat treated according to USDA T-314-A.
How to Use Mini-Logs: The best way to build a pinon wood fire with our mini-logs is to lay one mini-log flat with two or three additional mini-logs leaning against or on top of the first one, creating something similar to a teepee. If you are using a solid fire starter, build mini-log teepee on top of the fire starters then light fire starters. If using liquid lighter fluid, follow manufacturer's instructions.
