Boil: Stovetop: (1) In medium saucepan over medium-high heat, combine desired amount of vegetables and 1/4-1/2 cup water. (2) Bring to a boil; reduce heat and cover. Simmer 6-7 minutes or until desired doneness, stirring occasionally. (3) Drain; season to taste. Microwave: (1) In microwave-safe dish, combine desired amount of vegetables and 2 tablespoons water; cover. (2) Microwave (high) 6-7 minutes (Directions were developed for 1100 watt and higher microwave ovens. Cooking in microwave overs below 1100 watts will require additional proper time to reach temperature. Microwave ovens vary; adjust cooking time accordingly) or until desired doneness, stirring halfway through. (3) Let stand 1 minute in microwave to complete cooking. Drain; season to taste. Preparation Directions: For food safety and quality, follow these directions and cook thoroughly to 165 degrees F. Keep frozen until ready to use. Promptly refrigerate leftovers.
