Completely cooked- just add breast milk, formula or water. Tips for starting solid foods: Infant cereal is an important part of your child's diet for both infants and toddlers. Have your baby in an upright position while feeding. For easy mixing: 1. Pour desired amount into a bowl. Start with a tablespoon and increase up to approximately 1/2 cup as baby's appetite grows. 2. Stir in breast milk, formula, or water and serve. To microwave: 1. Warm prepared cereal in microwaves safe bowl at 50% power for 15-30 seconds. 2. Stir to even out temperature test before feeding. Note: Never thaw or heat breast milk in a microwave. Microwaving can destroy nutrients in breast milk and create hot spots, which can burn a baby's mouth.
