Head lice are very small, varying in size from 1/16 inch to 1/8 inch (about the size of a sesame seed). Combing Tips: Work under bright light such as near a lamp or natural sunlight. Leave Licefreee Gel in the hair while coming out dead lice and nits. Use a comb or brush to remove tangles before using the nit comb. Remove dead lice and nits by working through small, 1 inch sections. Insert the comb as close to the scalp as possible and then slide to the ends of the hair strand. Lice lay their eggs close to the scalp where it is warm. After each pass through the hair, rinse comb in water and wipe on a paper towel to remove the dead lice and nits. It can be difficult to find every nit with the first comb through. Nit combing can be repeated daily until you have found all of the nits. Includes a stainless steel comb.

Directions: 3 easy steps! Apply gel as directed, comb out dead lice and nits, then rinse hair with water. When used a directed, your child will be lice free and able to return to school. Adults and Children 6 Months of Age and Older: Shake well. Remove cap and tamper evident seal; replace with enclosed root applicator. Apply to dry hair and entire scalp, starting at the nape of the neck and behind ears (where lice congregate) and work forward. Thoroughly saturate all hair and scalp; to be effective, all lice and nits must come in full contact with the product. Put plastic cap on head and leave on for at least 60 minutes; for best results stay in a warm room. With product still in hair, remove plastic cap and comb out all dead lice and nits with enclosed fine toothed comb; rinse comb out under running water. Once all lice and nits are combed out, rinse hair thoroughly with warm running water. Thoroughly inspect and comb hair and scalp a second time to ensure complete removal of all lice and nits.
