Directions
You will need: 3/4 pound ground sausage, 1 1/2 cups water, 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, 3 eggs. 1. Cook sausage in 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 7 to 9 minutes, breaking up and stirring. Remove sausage from skillet; set aside in separate dish. Using paper towel, wipe excess grease from skillet, if desired. 2. Using the same skillet, add water, oil, potato blend, and seasoning; stir well. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. 3. Cover; reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer, without stirring, 12 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. 4. While potatoes are cooking, whisk eggs with fork in small bowl; set aside. 5. Increase heat to medium-high. Stir cooked sausage into potatoes until combined; push mixture to one side of pan. 6. Add beaten eggs to empty side of pan; cook 1 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until firm. Gently stir eggs into potato mixture; remove from heat. 7. Squeeze Queso Topping pouch to soften; cut open. Squeeze topping over potato mixture. For food safety and quality, follow the cooking directions. Refrigerate leftovers.
