Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard.
Pan Fry: Pan Fry: In a nonstick pan over medium-high heat add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil or butter. Place pierogies in the pan and lightly brown on both sides, about 5 minutes. Carefully add 1 /3 cup of water and immediately cover with lid to steam. Turn heat down to low-medium and continue to cook until water evaporates, about 6-8 minutes. Let cool for 1 minute. Boil: Boil : Bring 3 quarts of water and 1 tablespoon of salt to a rolling boil. Add pierogies to pot and bring back to a boil. Cook for 4-6 minutes. Stir gently to prevent sticking. Drain water. Let cool for 1 minute and serve or lightly saute in butter. Cooking Instructions: Best results! Note : Cook thoroughly. Cooking times may vary depending on stove top; adjust accordingly. Internal temperature should be 165 degrees F. Caution: My be hot!
