Flounder Fillets, Water, Sodium Tripolyphosphate.


Directions

Fry: Preheat oil in fryer to 350 degrees F. Bread frozen fillet same as oven-baked fillets. Fry for 4-1/2 to 5 minutes until golden brown. Bake: Grease pan and preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Dip frozen fillets in a well combination of 1 tsp salt, 1/8 tsp pepper, 1 egg, 1 tbsp milk or water. Roll fillets in cracker meal, bread crumbs, or corn meal. Place in greased pan. Brush melted butter on fillets. Bake for 20 minutes. Broil: Preheat broiler 10 minutes. Spread butter or oil liberally over broiling pan. Salt and pepper frozen fillets on both sides, brush with melted butter and put in broiler approximately 6 inches from heating unit. Broil 8 to 10 minutes, brush with melted butter halfway through cooking. Garnish with lemon slice and chopped parsley. Microwave: Place frozen fillets in a buttered microwaveable dish. Brush with melted butter. Season with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Microwave on high for 6 to 7 minutes. Turn dish one-half turn after 3 minutes. Each strip is individually fresh frozen for convenience. Do not thaw until ready to use. Keep frozen.
