Potting Containers: Indoor & Outdoor: Select a container large enough to provide ample room for future root growth. Make sure that the container has at least one drain hole to allow for proper drainage. Good drainage is very important! Fill the container with Dr. Earth Pot of Gold All Purpose Potting Soil until it is filled to a level that allows the base of the plant to sit 1 inch below the top of the container. Finish filling the container with Dr. Earth Pot of Gold All Purpose Potting Soil until the level of the soil is even with the top of the plant's own root mass. Gently compress the Dr. Earth Pot of Gold All Purpose Potting Soil around the roots to remove air pockets.
