Family run since 1890, Manner still uses Josef's secret recipe for the tasty Manner wafer - today enjoyed by people all over the world. The Taste of Vienna: At a time when high-quality confectioners were out of reach for everyone but Vienna's well-to-do, Josef Manner set out to make a wafer that would be both great tasting and affordable. In 1898, he created the Neapolitaner: a five-layer hazelnut cream-filled wafer cookie, wrapped in single-serve foil and accessible to all. His extraordinary wafer perfectly captured the taste and spirit of his time. A family-run business since 1890, Manner still uses Josef's secret recipe today to preserve the great "Manner taste." All Manner wafers are produced in the original Vienna bakery to the highest standard, with the very best in-house roasted cocoa beans and spring water from Austria Alps. 12% hazelnuts in our cream. Care and commitment only a family business can provide. Cocoa from sustainable sources roasted in-house. Dispose of properly.
