Okra
Cooking: Place frozen Whole Baby Okra in salted, boiling water. Cook gently 8 to 10 minutes or until tender. Do not overcook. Drain and serve with butter or margarine, season to taste. Southern Style: Dip partially defrosted Whole Baby Okra in beaten egg and roll in flour, cracker meal or corn meal and fry in small amount of bacon drippings or fat until brown. Microwave: Place contents of package in covered glass casserole; add 1/4 tablespoon water. Cook on High setting 6 minutes. Stir and cook on high setting another 6 to 7 minutes. Let stand 2 to 3 minutes. Note: Due to varying wattage on microwave ovens, you may need to cook longer than indicated. Please consult your microwave oven owner's manual for additional information.
