Chef Select Thermometer, Instant Read, Blister Pack Great taste starts here. Stainless steel probe. Measures in seconds. This food thermometer quickly measures the temperatures of food in about 15 to 20 seconds. It is not designed to remain in the food while the food is cooking, but should be used near the end of the estimated cooking time to check for final cooking temperatures. To prevent over cooking, check the temperature before the food is expected to finish cooking.

Ingredients

Instant Read Thermometer.

Directions

Insert probe of thermometer into thickest part of meat. Ensure the tip is not touching bone, gristle, cooking pan or is inserted in the cavity. For accurate temperature measurement, the probe must be inserted the full length of the sensing area (usually 2 to 3 inches). If measuring the temperature of thin food, such as a hamburger patty or boneless chicken breast, the probe should be inserted through the side of the food as that the entire sensing area is positioned through the center of the food. Care: Clean the thermometer and probe with a damp cloth after each use. Not dishwasher safe. USDA Recommended Internal Temperatures (These temperatures are recommended for consumer cooking. They are not intended for processing, institutional, or food service preparation. Food service professionals should consult their state or local food code). Type of Meat: Ground Meat & Meat Textures: Turkey, chicken; 165 degrees F. Veal, beef, lamb, pork; 160 degrees F. Fresh Beef/Veal/Lamb: Medium rare; 145 (As measured with a food thermometer before removing meat from the heat source For safety and quality, allow meat to rest for at least three minutes before carving or consuming. For reasons of personal preference, consumers may choose to cook meat to higher temperatures) degrees F. Medium; 160 degrees F. Well done; 170 degrees F. Fresh pork; 160 degrees F. Poultry: Chicken, turkey, duck & goose (whole or pieces), poultry breasts and roasts, stuffing (cooked alone or in bird); 165 degrees F. Ham: Fresh (raw); 140 (As measured with a food thermometer before removing meat from the heat source For safety and quality, allow meat to rest for at least three minutes before carving or consuming. For reasons of personal preference, consumers may choose to cook meat to higher temperatures) degrees F. Pre-cooked (to reheat); 140 degrees F. Here's a breakdown of Instacart delivery cost:

- Delivery fees start at $3.99 for same-day orders over $35. Fees vary for one-hour deliveries, club store deliveries, and deliveries under $35.
- Service fees vary and are subject to change based on factors like location and the number and types of items in your cart. Orders containing alcohol have a separate service fee.
- Tipping is optional but encouraged for delivery orders. It's a great way to show your shopper appreciation and recognition for excellent service. 100% of your tip goes directly to the shopper who delivers your order.

Instacart pickup cost:
- There may be a "pickup fee" (equivalent to a delivery fee for pickup orders) on your pick up order that is typically $1.99 for non-Instacart+ members. Instacart+ membership waives this like it would a delivery fee.
- Pick up orders have no service fees, regardless of non-Instacart+ or Instacart+ membership.
