Proper storage & handling of papa’s pellets. Papa's Premium Smoking & Grilling Pellets are the most flavorful pellets on the market today. We use only top-quality wood sawdust. We never use oils or binding agents. Since we don't use binding agents to hold our pellet's shape, any moisture, humidity, or improper handling could cause the pellets to break down into original pure sawdust. Be sure to properly store our pellets. Always store pellets indoors away from humidity. Papa suggests storing your pellets in a container with a tight lid. All of our pellets are highly absorbent and will soak up moisture from the air. This could diminish the flavor and affect the way pellets burn. If your grill is kept outside, as most grills are, do not leave pellets in the feeder bin of your grill for long lengths of time. Over time, your pellets may not only lose rich flavor, they may absorb enough moisture to swell and adversely affect the operation of your grill. If you are like Papa, you refuse to leave home without your grill! Maybe your grilles mounted on a trailer for BBQ competitions or events. Wherever you are grilling, be sure to gently handle your pellets during transport. Our small sawdust pellets are like little bombs of flavor for your grill, but pellets will break down into sawdust if tossed around or handled roughly. Nobody wins a BBQ competition or wows a hungry crowd grilling with sawdust!
