Organic Identity Preserved Wheat Flour, Organic Sweet Potato, Leavening (baking Soda, Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate, Monocalcium Phosphate), Sea Salt, Organic Cinnamon, Organic Nutmeg.
Directions
10 minutes prep time. 2-1/2 to 3 minutes cook time. Entire box makes 24 pancakes. Ingredients Needed: For 6 Pancakes: 3/4 cup organic sweet potato pancake mix; 1 egg; 2 tablespoons butter, melted & cooled slightly; 1/2 cup milk (or milk substitute), more as needed. For 24 Pancakes: 1 full bag of organic sweet potato pancake mix; 5 eggs; 10 tablespoons butter, melted & cooled slightly; 2-1/2 cups milk (or milk substitute), more as needed. Tools You'll Need: Frying pan or griddle, spatula, mixing bowl, non-stick spray, wire whisk, wooden spoon, measuring spoon, measuring cup. Baking Instructions: Preheat griddle to 350 degrees F or heat a large skillet over medium-low heat. In a large bowl, whisk egg to blend. Whisk in melted butter until slightly thickened. Whisk in milk. Gently whisk in pancake mix to make a smooth batter. Grease griddle as needed. For each pancake, ladle about 1/4-cup pancake batter onto greased griddle to make a 4 inches pancake. Cook until bubbles start to form on top & begin to pop. Turn pancakes over & cook on second side until done. (If batter thickens upon standing, add additional milk, 1 teaspoon at a time).
