Directions

Directions for Use: Do not allow pet mice, gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, or other pet rodents to come in contact with this product. Always use a dedicated measuring device. Do not use kitchen utensils. Do not place bait in areas accessible to children. Indoor use: Prior to treatment, all likely food sources must be removed or made unavailable to rats and mice. Place bait trays at bait points where there are signs of rat or mouse activity, such as fresh droppings, inside or near rat runs and feeding areas. Place recommended amount of RatX into small containers or feeding trays approximately 6 feet apart through the infested area. Protect bait points from non-target animals and from water. Inspect bait points frequently and replaced any eaten bait. Replace any baits which become wet and re-site in a dry location. Keep topping up bait points until there are no more takes for 48 hours. Outdoor use: Place bait points where there are signs of rat or mouse activity, like fresh droppings or near burrows, runways, feeding places and at points of entry around the perimeter of buildings. Place recommended amount of RatX into bait stations or wrap in clinging packaging film and place in drainpipes, open-ended boxes or under sheets of metal or wood, secured at an angle against a wall to keep the bait points dry, at intervals of approximately 6 feet, reducing to 4 feet in areas of high infestation. Protect bait points from water as the baits must be kept dry. Protect bait points from non-target animals. Inspect bait points frequently and replace any eaten bait or baits that have become wet and re-site in a dry location. If you require more bait trays within the activity area, use flowerpot saucers or a similar item. RatX can also be placed directly into rat and mouse holes, nesting or feeding areas. Place recommended amount of RatX into conventional bait stations or wrap in clinging packaging film and push down the burrow with a long stick or similar item. Replenish packets daily until there are either no more takes or no rat or mouse activity for 48 hours. Recommended amount of RatX: Rats: 1/2-2 oz, 15-60 gm, 1-4 tbsp; Mice: 1/3-1/2 oz, 10-15 gm, 2/3-1 tbsp. Post treatment: When handling, always use rubber gloves. Remove all remains of bait and bait containers after treatment and dispose of safely. Apply household disinfectants or bleach solutions at recommended concentrations and contact time to dead rats and mice, rat and mouse droppings, nests and surrounding area. Open the area thoroughly with paper towels or a mop. Place dead rats, mice and soiled paper towels in a plastic bag and seal tightly. Place sealed bag into a second plastic bag and seal tightly. Dispose of bags into a covered trash can that is routinely emptied. Dispose of gloves when finished and thoroughly wash hands with soap and water.

Storage and Disposal: Store only in original container in a cool, dry place inaccessible to children and pets. Do not reuse empty containers. Offer for recycling if available or discard in trash.
