Creme Fraiche, Water, Sugar, Nonfat Milk, Egg Yolks, Brown Sugar, Casein (Lactose and Milk Protein), Rice Starch, Xanthan Gum, Carrageenan (Contains Wheat Dextrose), Vanilla Extract, Vanilla Seeds.
Directions
Keep frozen. Cook thoroughly. For food safety and quality, follow these cooking instructions. Product needs to be thoroughly cooked. For Best Results: Remove frozen Safeway Select Creme Brulee from box and discard overwrap. Creme Brulee in the Broiler: 1. Partially thaw, until the custard is just soft enough to insert the tip of a small knife, using one of the following methods: refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours, or microwave on 50% power for 30 to 60 seconds. 2. Knead and shake unopened sugar packets to make sure contents are free flowing. Sprinkle sugar over the custard (use one packet per dish). Shake dish lightly from side to side to distribute sugar evenly on top of the Creme Brulee. 3. Position broiler rack 4 to 5 inches from heat source. Preheat broiler to Highest setting. Place Safeway Select Creme Brulee on baking sheet. Broil for 2 to 4 minutes until sugar is bubbling around the edges and most sugar has melted. If necessary, re-position dishes for even browning. Watch carefully to avoid scorching. 4. Let cool at room temperature for 8 to 10 minutes before serving. Creme Brulee with a Torch: 1. Thaw completely, until the custard is soft, using one of the following methods: refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours, or microwave on 50% power for 2 minutes. 2. Knead and shake unopened sugar packets to make sure contents are free flowing. Sprinkle sugar over the custard (use one packet per dish). Shake dish lightly from side to side to distribute sugar evenly on top of the Creme Brulee. 3. Caramelize the sugar with a torch, keeping the torch approximately 4 inches from the top of the Creme Brulee. 4. Let Creme Brulee cool at room temperature for 5 minutes before serving.
