Luau taro pudding. 100% Hawaii taro. Like homemade. All natural powder mix. Just add water. All natural. Oki's best. Note: Sodium caseinate is a milk derivative, classified as a non-dairy product, and is not a source of lactose. Barbara Oki Story: For fifteen years my customers at Oki Diner on the island of Kauai said that I made the best homemade coconut syrup and that I should package it. So I did! It took me two years to formulate an all natural coconut dry powder mix. My delicious coconut cream syrup has no preservatives and no chemicals in it so you will taste the true flavor of fresh coconut. Enjoy. Website: www.kauaitropicalsyrup.com. Made in Hawaii.
Ingredients
Hawaii Taro, Coconut, Cane Sugar, Cornstarch, Maltodextrin, Sodium, Caseinate and Salt.
Directions
Refrigerate after use. Microwave: 1. Bring 1/2 cup of water to a boil in a microwave-safe bowl on high for 60 seconds. Water must be boiling (refer to your microwave user manual for boiling times). 2. Add 1 teaspoon vegetable oil to water after removing bowl from microwave. 3. Carefully add dry mix (entire bag) of Kulolo mix to water. 4. Stir will a large spoon (approx 10 seconds). Make sure mixture is smooth. 5. Place bowl in microwave for 30 seconds. 6. Remove bowl from microwave, fold Kulolo mixture 5 to 6 times (turn one part over the other) to ensure even cooking. Note: Mixture will be thick. 7. Place bowl back in microwave for 30 seconds. Kulolo should be soft & fluffy when done. Do not stir Kulolo again. 8. Allow Kulolo to rest in bowl covered w/plastic wrap. 10. Cool for another 10 minutes. Cut Kulolo & serve. 11. Wrap left over Kulolo w/plastic wrap and refrigerate. Before serving, re-heat in microwave on med-low until soft.
