Unbleached Enriched Hard Wheat Flour (Wheat Flour, Malted Barley Flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Sugar, Yeast, Sea Salt.
Yield: 12 4-inch pretzels. You will need 1 can (12 ounces) beer or carbonated beverage. 3 tablespoons baking soda (optional). 1. Heat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease baking sheet. 2. Warm 3/4 cup beer in microwave until warm to the touch. Combine baking mix packet, & warm beer. Stir until soft dough forms. Turn dough out onto floured surface. Knead 50-75 times until smooth & stretchy. Shape into a ball & place in greased bowl. Cover with plastic wrap. Place in a warm location for 30 minutes until double in size. 3. Divide dough into 12 pieces. Roll into ropes and twist into a pretzel shape. 4. (Optional but recommended) in a medium saucepan add 3 tablespoons baking soda to 3 cups water & bring to a boil. Dip each pretzel into boiling water. Remove with slotted spatula when pretzel floats to the top. Place on greased baking sheet. Sprinkle container of Celtic Sea Salt (included) over pretzels. 5. Bake on center rack of oven for about 10 minutes or until light brown.
