Directions

Directions for Use: It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Shake well before use. Hold container upright. Apply in short bursts. Use Restrictions: Avoid contamination of food. Do not use in food areas of food handling establishments, restaurants, or other areas where food is commercially prepared or processed. Do not use in serving areas while food is exposed or facility is in operation. Serving areas are areas where food is served, such as dining rooms, but excluding areas where foods may be prepared or held. Do not apply when food is present. Exposed food should be covered or removed. All food preparation surfaces and utensils should be covered during treatment or thoroughly washed before use. Do not apply when food is present. Do not water the treated area to the point of runoff. Do not make applications during rain. Remove pets and birds and cover fish aquariums and ornamental fish ponds before spraying and turn aquarium systems off. Do not allow people or pets to enter treated areas until vapors, mists, and aerosols have dispersed, and the treated area has been thoroughly ventilated. Do not enter or allow others to enter the treated area until the sprays have dried. Wait two (2) hours after application, then open windows, vents and door for two hours. If an odor is still detected, additional ventilation is required. Do not apply this product in a way that will contact adults, children, or pets either directly or through drift. All outdoor applications must be limited to spot or crack-and-crevice treatments only, except for the following permitted uses: Treatment to soil or vegetation around structures; applications to lawns, turf, and other vegetation. All outdoor applications to impervious surfaces such as sidewalks, driveways, patios, porches, and structural surfaces (such as windows, doors, and eaves) are limited to spot and crack-and-crevice applications, only. Outdoors: Spray area infested with the flying insects. Hold container 18-24 inches from shrubs, bushes, and grassy areas. Spray these areas with a slow sweeping motion at a rate of 1-3 seconds per cubic yard of space while moving away from treated area. To reduce annoyance from these pests, treat open porches and patio in a similar manner. Spray only when the air is still. Allow spray to dissipate before occupying the treated area. General: When sprayed directly on insects, this spray will kill listed insects (Eastern tent caterpillars, aphids, cankerworms, leafhoppers, white flies, spider mites, Japanese beetles, mealybugs, ants, caterpillars, and boxelder bugs) on ornamental cherries, spirea, roses, crepe myrtle, ornamental crabapples, andromedas, azaleas, chrysanthemums, gardenia, purple passion vines, peonies, oleander, and arborvitae. Take care when spraying tender growth on young plants. When spraying, hold can 18-20 inches from plant. For best results, spray in the evening or on a cloudy day when air is still. Lightly mist the plants, using a slow sweeping motion. Avoid wetting foliage with spray. Spray rows at a rate of 1 foot per second. For heavy growth, spray both sides of row. Do not spray when temperature exceeds 90 degrees F. Indoors: To Kill Flies, Gnats, Mosquitoes, and Small Flying Moths: Close all doors and windows and direct spray upward into center of room, using a slow sweeping motion. Spray 5-10 seconds for average room. Keep room closed for 15 minutes after spraying. Sweep up and discard fallen insects. Cover exposed food and utensils before spraying. To Kill Fleas and Ticks in Pet Bedding and Pet Areas: Remove and destroy pet's old bedding. To reduce infestation, thoroughly spray the animal's bedding, sleeping quarters, around baseboards, window and door frames, wall cracks, local areas of floors, and other resting places until the surface is slightly moist. Treat these areas at the rate of 2 seconds per linear foot at a distance of 12-18 inches. Also, spray the entire inside surface of doghouses. Put fresh bedding in pet's quarters after spray is done. Do not spray animals. Also treat dogs and cats with a registered flea and tick control product before allowing them to reenter treated area. To Treat Flea and Tick Infestation in Rugs and Carpets: Spray rugs and carpets where fleas tend to hide. If used on light-colored or delicate upholstery fabrics, test for potential staining in an inconspicuous place before use. Thoroughly spray into hiding places such as in cracks and crevices in walls and floors, along baseboards, and window and door frames. Spray at the rate of 1 square foot per second. Storage and Disposal: Do not contaminate water, food, or feed by storage and disposal. Pesticide Storage: Store in a cool, dry area. Always store pesticides in the original container. Store away from food and pet food. Pesticide Disposal and Container Handling: Do not puncture or incinerate! Nonrefillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container. If Empty: Place in trash or offer for recycling if available. If Partly Filled: Call your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions.
