True to you since 1892. When P.C. Larkin found the Salada Tea Company in 1892, he was a passionate believer in quality and soon began serving up the great taste of Salada Tea. Nearly a century later, this same philosophy led us to introduce Salada Naturally Decaffeinated Tea. This blend is decaffeinated using 100% natural process to produce a flavor that is uniquely Salada. The bronze doors shown here mark the entrance to the Salada Tea Building in Boston and depict the history of the tea trade, as well as Mr. Larkin's commitment to quality.

Naturally Healthy Tea. Recent research is leading many scientist to agree that tea may contribute positively to a healthy lifestyle. Studies suggest that tea is beneficial in maintaining good cardiovascular health. Researchers also theorize that the antioxidant flavonoids found in tea contribute to a good overall health. Antioxidant are believed to be important in maintaining cell integrity by neutralizing free radicals. Salada Decaffeinated Black Tea contains 85mg of Antioxidant flavonoids per serving.

Directions

Hot Tea: By the Cup--Bring fresh, cold tap water to full rolling boil. Using Salada Naturally Decaffeinated tea bags for each cup of tea, pour the boiling water over the tea bag and steep for 3 minutes. Remove tea bag and stir. Add sugar or milk if desired. By the Pot--Same as above, except rinse the teapot with hot water before preparing the tea. Iced Tea: By the Glass--For every 2 glasses of iced tea, pour 2 cups of boiling water over 3 Salada Naturally Decaffeinated tea bags. Steep for 3 minutes. Remove tea bags and pour into tall glasses filled with ice. Serve with sugar or lemon if desired. By the Quart--Pour 1 quart boiling water over 6 Salada Naturally Decaffeinated tea bags. Steep as directed above.
