This flavor originated deep in the heart of Texas, during a Ben & Jerry’s sampling tour where the main objective was to elect the best of two Texas-inspired flavors. Well, the road was long, dry, and punctuated with more than one cactus spine, but the citizens of the Lone Star State offered opinions to spare, and we ended up with our victor. Lucky for you (and for us!), our Texas road-trip lassoed a new flavor that rides the knife edge between danger—buttery bourbon ice cream! Whiskey caramel swirl!—and deliciousness—shortbread cookie pieces! This one is available Tex-clusively in the Lone Star State.
Like all of Ben & Jerry’s flavors, we use cage-free eggs, non-GMO sourced ingredients, and milk and cream from the happy cows in our Caring Dairy program to create the euphoria in this pint. The sugar in Bourbon Pecan Pie also comes from Fairtrade certified producers, and the flavor is packaged up for your freezer in responsibly sourced packaging.
