Farro, Seasoning Mix (buttermilk And Whey Solids, Sugar, Maltodextrin, Sea Salt, Garlic, Vinegar Powder, Onion, Modified Food Starch, Paprika, Natural Flavor (yeast Extract), Chipotle Pepper, Parsley, Cheddar Cheese Powder), Bell Pepper, Corn.
Directions
Included: farro; veggie blend; spices. What You Will Need: cilantro; cherry tomatoes; flat leaf parsley (optional). 1 tbsp olive oil. 2 tbsp water. 1/2 cup cilantro or parsley, chopped. 1 cup cherry tomatoes, sliced in half. 1. In a large stock pot, boil 8 cups of water. Add the farro and vegetable blend, bring to a boil and simmer for 18-20 minutes. 2. In a colander, drain and rinse well under cold water. Allow to drain for an additional 5 minutes. 3. While farro is draining, in a large bowl whisk together water, oil and dressing mix. Add farro, tomatoes and cilantro. Stir to coat with dressing. 4. Allow salad to rest for 1 hour in the fridge to let flavors meld. Tip: Add cooked black beans and diced avocado to our Farro & Red Pepper Salad for a vegetarian meal perfect for a busy weeknight.
