Gluten free pasta. Made with corn & rice. Since 1950. Cook 11 min. Wheat free. Gluten free. All natural. Our Pasta: Wheat-free pasta rich with Italian tradition. Made deep in the heart of Puglia, our gluten-free pasta begins as a delicate blend of corn and rice expertly milled to create flavorful authentic pasta with the perfect al dente bite. Our facility is both a molino and pastificio (mill and pasta factory) dedicated solely to wheat-free products with no risk of cross contamination. We source only the highest quality of raw ingredients from Northern Italy for 100% Italian pasta, rich with tradition and generations of pasta-making experience. Our signature robust flavor and firm texture make Delano the ultimate gluten-free substitute for traditional wheat pasta. Enjoy! Named for its small, barley-like shape, this tiny pasta cut is ready to take on anything from hearty, cold-weather soups to creamy, cheesy side dishes & more. Now everyone can enjoy its small (but mighty) presence. Recipe Ideas: orzo & arugula salad with balsamic vinaigrette; baked orzo with porcini, peas & fontina; Italian sausage & orzo stuffed green peppers. Visit delallo.com for these recipes and more. www.delallo.com. Non-GMO. Dedicated gluten-free facility certified by the Italian Ministry of Health. Produced & packed in Italy. Made in Italy.
70% Corn Flour, 30% Rice Flour.
Cooking Preparation: 1. Bring 4 quarts of water to a rolling boil. 2. Before pasta, add approx 1 tbsp salt, never oil. 3. Add pasta to water and stir. 4. To bring water back up to a boil, cover with lid. 5. Once boiling, remove lid, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. Cook for 11 minutes, until al dente. 6. Drain (never rinse) and immediately toss with desired sauce in a saucepan. 7. Cook together for about 2 minutes on high heat to marry flavors, and serve. Perfect Pasta: Cooking pasta is not on exact science. Continually check your pasta for al dente texture. Remove pasta from water just before it is done, as it will continue to cook once drained. Save 1 cup of pasta water to enhance your sauces. For oil-based sauces, adding pasta water loosens sauce to help coat pasta. For red sauces, adding pasta water helps to extend thicker sauces.
