Ingredients
Enriched Rice (Rice, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamin Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Dehydrated Vegetables (Red and Green Bell Pepper, Onion, Garlic, Chili Pepper), Salt, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Paprika, Spices, Hydrolyzed Corn Gluten, Sugar, Molasses Powder (Molasses, Soy Flour, Wheat Starch, and Hydroxylated Soy Lecithin), Torula Yeast, Caramel Color, Yeast Extract, So Flour, Natural Flavors, Partially Hydrogenated Soybean Oil.
Directions
All you do is add your own chicken, meat, or seafood, simmer for 25 minutes and serve. There's a separate red pepper packet to add Cajun spice to suit your taste. "Louisiana "Dirty" Rice Mix: 1. Lightly brown 1 lb. of meat (ground beef, pork, chicken gizzards, or combination) in saucepan. Drain grease. 2. Add to meat, 2-1/2 cups water*, 1 tsp. oil and bring to a boil. Stir in dirty rice mix. If you like to add a little more spice to your meal, stir in a portion of the red pepper packet. Return to a boil. 3. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 30 minutes, Stir occasionally during cooking and before serving. If you would like it even spicier, stir in the rest of the red pepper packet. Usage for Microwave Cooking: 1. Combine precooked meat, 2-1/2 cold water*, Dirty Rice mix and 1 tsp. oil in a microwavable dish. If you like to have a little more spice in your meal, add a portion of the red pepper packet. 2. Stir, cover and cook on high setting for 5 minutes. Reduce to medium (50% power) for 20-25 minutes, or until rice is cooked. Let stand covered 5 minutes. Stir and taste; if you would like it even spicier, stir in the rest of the red pepper packet.
