For hygienic maintenance, disassemble the spout cup and store the parts in a dry and closed container.
Tip:

Replaceable spouts (SCF750 only) and the brush set are sold separately.

Allowing your child to use this product for prolonged periods separate from regular mealtimes or to go to sleep while drinking liquids, other than water, from this cup may cause or contribute to early childhood tooth decay. Before first use, disassemble all parts and sterilize them.
Before each use, check the spout cup. If you detect damage or cracks, stop using the spout cup immediately.
Prevent the child from running or walking while drinking.
Caution:
The spout cup is intended for use with healthy drinks. Water and milk are the best drinks for children of any age.
Thick, fizzy or pulpy drinks may block the valve and cause it to break or leak (SCF752, SCF754 only).
The spout cup is not microwave-safe.
Check the temperature of the drink before you let your child drink it.
Do not over tighten the screw top on the spout cup.
Do not use the spout cup to mix and shake infant formula, as this can clog the vent hole and cause the cup to leak.
Make sure that the valve is properly assembled (SCF752, SCF754 only).
To prevent scalding, allow hot liquids to cool before you fill the cup.
Never use the spout as a pacifier. Continuous and prolonged sipping of liquids can cause tooth decay.
For hygiene reasons, replace spouts after 3 months of use. Only use original Philips Avent spouts (SCF750 only).
Cleaning and sterilization:
Caution:
Do not use abrasive anti-bacterial cleaning agents, or chemical solvents.
Do not place parts directly on surfaces cleaned with anti-bacterial cleaners.
Food coloring may discolor parts.
After each use, disassemble all parts and clean them thoroughly in warm soapy water. Then rinse them in clean water. You can also clean all parts in the top rack of the dishwasher.
If necessary, clean the spout with the Philips Avent cleaning brush sold separately.
After cleaning, sterilize the spout cup. The spout cup is suitable for sterilizers.
