Made from 100% recycled wax cardboard. Non-toxic food grade material. Can be used indoors for heat and outdoors for cooking. Burns up to 3 hours. 100% recycled. Trees for the future. Planting trees, changing lives. Think green: save the environment, reduce the landfill. Environmentally friendly. You too can help the environment! 600,000 tons of wax corrugated cardboard (WCC) goes to landfills each year. WCC takes up to 50 years to decompose. Landfills are overflowing with WCC waste. Green Heat logs are made from 100% recycled WCC. Green Heat Firelogs are made from food grade non-toxic materials. Why is this that important? Our logs can be used in an outdoor fire. They can be burned as a single log or combined with other Green Heat logs as you would in a campfire. Because our ingredients are non-toxic, when burned, you can cook over the flame. This makes Green Heat logs very unique. At Zip, we believe that it is our responsibility to help maintain the planet's resources. By supporting trees for the future we are actively reducing our environmental impact and working towards a cleaner, greener world. Trees for the future teaches communities not only to plant and grow trees, but also how to use these trees to feed and sustain themselves economically with land-use systems, which integrate local agriculture trees. People and animals for better soil and water, higher crop yields and improved standards of living. Since 1989 trees for the future have planted over 80 million trees in more than 65 countries around the world. Each year these trees remove more than 2 million tons of carbon dioxide from the global atmosphere. Why are Green Heat Firelogs better than the others? Other logs are made from a combination of available ingredients. Most any refuse is compressed with various oils to form their logs. Ours are made from 100% WCC. Their logs have an odor before and after they are lit. Our have no odor. Theirs have a tendency to melt, drip and spark. Our logs stay together and produce a steady flame. How does WCC burn? (waxed corrugated cardboard). Green Heat Logs burn for up to 3 hours. They light easily and produce large colorful flames throughout the entire burn. Use one or more as required. Made in USA.

Directions

Burning: 1. Lightly tap each log on the ground 2. Without tearing, loosen Firelog wrapper by gently pulling on seams. 3. Stock one or two Zip Green Heat Firelogs or firewood as desired. 4. Light firelog wrapper at both ends at the arrows. (We recommend always using a long match to light fires). Unlike most manufactured firelogs, it is safe to burn multiple logs and they can be mixed with any regular firewood. Please be sure to fully extinguish all open fires when done. Safety: Zip Green Heat Firelogs burn with real heat and are not simply for decorative flames. Only use in fireplaces or appliances suitable for a real solid fuel fire. Ensure chimney is well maintained. Open fireplace damper before lighting the firelog.

Risk of fire The Zip Green Heat Firelog is designed to light easily and quickly with a match of butane utility lighter. Just light the seam of the wrapper where indicated. California Proposition 65 Warning: Burning fireplace or wood stove fuels: natural firewood, natural gas and manufactured fireplace logs, results in the emissions of carbon monoxide, soot and other combustion by-products which are known by the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects or reproductive harm. Many factors affect the operation of your fireplace. A properly installed and maintained fireplace and chimney will dramatically reduce the likelihood of combustion products entering your home. An inadequate air supply could cause a fireplace malfunction. If you suspect that your unit is not functioning properly, a qualified contractor should be contacted.
