Introducing Peak Earning Days to Help You Plan
We are striving to equip shoppers with the information that helps you plan your time and decide when and where to shop. That’s why we’re introducing peak earning days, a new feature to help you see which days pay more per batch so you can plan when to shop.
See how to get paid more per batch
The peak earnings day page can help you plan your shopping up to a week in advance. The chart shows how base batch pay will now adjust across the week based on projected customer demand in your area. Each week, we’ll provide you with the details of which days pay more per batch compared to the lowest paying day that week, so you can shop on the days that work best for you.
Peak earning days have no impact on tips—as always, 100% of tips go directly to you.
How it works
- Our new peak earning days page shows which days pay more (green) and which don’t (gray)
- You can change the location to explore peak earning days in nearby areas
- The chart resets every Thursday evening with new data for the following week
- Peak earnings only apply to the base batch pay. Tips and promotions are added on top of the batch pay.
What’s next?
We’ll roll out peak earning days from the evening of October 13 through October 20 in most areas, with the remaining areas scheduled to roll out in early 2023. Once this feature becomes available in your area, you’ll see it in the latest version of the Instacart Shopper app. As part of our commitments to the shopper community, we’re always working to enhance shoppers’ ability to earn on your terms, and we look forward to introducing even more ingredients and features in the future.
