Improving Your Post Batch Experience

May 24, 2022

Your experience on the platform is important to us — it helps us ensure we build a fair, considerate and compassionate community. You can now let us know how each batch went using the post batch survey.  If you have a bad experience with a customer, you’ll now be able to block future orders from this customer in the app.

How it works

  • After a batch is delivered, let us know how it went by giving the batch a thumbs up or a thumbs down
  • If you rate the batch thumbs down, let us know what went wrong by selecting up to 3 issues on the survey screen. We review these reasons to inform improvements we make to the app.
  • If you select “rude customer,” you can provide us more feedback on your experience.
  • If you don’t want to see any batches that include orders from this customer, you can check the box that says “block orders from this customer.”

At Instacart, we’re committed to creating a community built on best intent. We look forward to continuing to implement your feedback and developing new features that ensure our platform is fair for everyone. We’re excited to deliver product features related to our fourth commitment, recognition and rewards for the best of the bunch, next month.
