Announcing Peak Earning Days for Shoppers

As part of our recent renewed commitment to shoppers, we made a promise to provide you with ingredients to earn on your terms: important information on the best way to earn, so you can earn what you want, when you want it. We’re excited to continue building upon that commitment with the launch of peak earning days.

Plan for the week ahead with peak earning days

While we know shoppers appreciate the flexibility that comes with earning on the Instacart platform, we also understand the value of being able to plan ahead and anticipate what days you’ll be able to get paid more. The peak earning days feature provides you with valuable information about the days that will offer higher earning opportunities in specific areas, so you can plan for the week ahead and maximize your earning potential. 

Every Thursday, the peak earning days chart in the Shopper app will update to highlight which days in the coming week will pay more per batch, relative to other days that week. When you shop on a peak earning day, that day’s percentage increase will apply to the base pay for your batch. As always, 100% of tips you earn go directly to you and will not be impacted by peak earnings. You can also change your location to see what peak earning days look like in nearby areas, giving you the opportunity to decide if you want to shop in other locations and expand your access to earnings.

We developed peak earning days with the goal of helping you make more informed decisions when shopping and earning on the Instacart platform. The feature will start rolling out this evening and expand further in the coming months.
