Delivery from the grocers New Yorkers know and love in as fast as an hour

Whether in Rochester or the Hudson Valley, New Yorkers really love their food. That’s why Instacart is proud to partner with more than 85 unique retailers across the state, including large stores like Aldi and Price Chopper and smaller shops like Eataly (Mike’s Hot Honey, anyone?), Morton Williams and H Mart to bring New Yorkers the groceries they know and love. And, we’re working each and every day to bring more of the local New York retailers you trust online for your shopping convenience.

See which of your favorite retailers serves your zip code.

…and don’t forget about Wegmans.

As if you could! Instacart partners with Wegmans, too. In fact, our partnership with Wegmans means they can serve more New Yorkers than ever before. Learn more about how we’ve helped Wegman’s expand to reach New Yorkers in Manhattan all the way from Brooklyn.

Our partnerships and supporting New York brick-and-mortar grocers

New Yorkers love their local grocers, but many also want the convenience of receiving their food and household essentials at home. With more customers turning to online ordering, the grocery industry has had to adapt. Many stores can’t afford to run their own delivery service, and without Instacart, they couldn’t compete against those that could.

Our partnership with local grocers means more jobs and revenue for our retail partners. A recent survey conducted by NERA Economic Consulting found that in 2019, increased demand through Instacart created 6,600 full-time grocery jobs across the state and drove $154 million of additional incremental revenue for New York brick-and-mortar grocers — you can read more about that here. We want local grocers and communities to thrive and we’re honored to play a part in their success.

How does it work?

Once a customer places their order on the Instacart app, a shopper will pick, pack, and deliver the order right to their front door. There are more than 12,000 shoppers in New York who shop on our platform to earn supplemental income and help customers in their community. Whether juggling school, kids, or countless other responsibilities, New York shoppers love the flexibility that Instacart gives them.

Ready to give us a try? Millions of New Yorkers have made their lives easier by using Instacart. Start your shopping experience today.

On your way home from work and want to pick up your order? No problem! Many of our New York retailers also offer curbside pickup.
