Always the Freshest Loaf: This loaf of bread was baked fresh today in our bakery. That's because Bakers of Paris insists on delivering the very freshest bread 7 days a week. In fact, we often deliver to markets in both the morning and afternoon to make sure your loaf is delivered straight from the oven. All fresh and natural ingredients. That's all our traditional recipe calls for - 100% natural ingredients - without any dough conditioners, preservatives, fat, sugar, or cholesterol. The Pioneers in Fresh French Bread: Bakers of Paris was started in 1981 by two Parisiens, Lionel Robbe-Jedeau and Gilles Wicker (who were homesick for their native bread), and Joy Powers, a self-ascribed Francophile. Believing that no one should have to settle for stale bread, their idea was to deliver fresh French Bread everyday to local markets - including Wednesdays and Sundays. Ever since, Bakers of Paris has been providing the freshest and highest quality breads throughout the Bay Area - 7 days a week.
Ingredients
Enriched, Unbleached Flour (Wheat Flour, Malted Barley Flour, Niacin, Iron, Thiamin, Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Water, Wheat Starter, Salt and Yeast.
Directions
How to Enjoy your French Bread: To enhance its taste and texture, heat your French bread in the oven for 5 to 7 minutes at 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Our bread also freezes well, but remember to freeze it as soon as possible and to wrap it tightly in a plastic bag for storage. When removed for eating, the bread should first thaw for 30 minutes, and then be placed in a preheated oven (425 degrees Fahrenheit) for several minutes. For best results, let bread cool 10 minutes before serving.
