Stove Top Directions, Pick a Protein: 1/2 lb., cut into bite-sized pieces, . Smoked Sausage . Ham . Cooked Chicken . Cooked Ground Beef or Ground Sausage., Cook: Mix 3 cups water, Rice Mix, meat of your choice and 2 Tbsp. butter or olive oil in 3-quart saucepan until well blended. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low.
