I used half a jar of the old marinara sauce with the green and red cap depicting a store front with Rao's and then added a new jar with a different, plain gold cap. Both jars said Rao's Marinara, but the consistency was extremely watery. The calorie content was also different. The old jar was 100 calories per half-cup, the new water-y with an unpleasant taste is 80 calories. Please, please reverse course. Return to the original, higher price, and better-tasting recipe. Many of us will still pay top dollar for the best quality. Buyer be ware.

Loved loved loved Marinara Sauce recipe. It has disappeared and is now replaced by a different tasting "Marinara". Why did you change this? This was the only sauce I used to buy and I don't like the new recipe.

Why would you screw over your customer base who have been supporting you this entire time by changing the product we love. What an absolute disappointment. Total bonehead decision. I use to literally tell the world how good your sauce was, and in a bottle. Now, trash. Fix it.

I finally got around to trying the marinara last night. Everything was going fine until I had a big piece of plastic in my sauce!!!

I saw Rao's Sauce in a picture on Facebook, and didn't think much about it. While grocery shopping, my husband said he wanted some vegetable lasagna, so I looked for Rao's. I saw that it was more expensive the the other brands, so I decided to try the marinara (hey, you get what you pay for most times). My husband LOVED it!! It was such a great match for my veggie lasagna! I love that it only has ingredients that I can identify and pronounce!

I serve this every Thursday; I often use it as the base for a meat sauce with onions, peppers and mushrooms; sometimes just with mushrooms, sometimes straight-up, as-is. It's truly fabulous.

This is the only sauce I buy! I used to make my own, but this is by far the best sauce ever. I also buy the frozen entrees . They are so convenient and delicious!!!!

Rao's Marinara sauce is a staple in my kitchen! I use it in my lasagna recipes, and in spaghetti and a variety of other recipes. We love the rich flavor and the ease of opening a jar, adding a bit of this and a bit of that and then mixing it with our favorite pasta.

Thank you, thank you for making this sauce without onions and garlic! I am a stage 4 cancer patient and always on chemo. This sauce has made my life so much easier. I have never bought sauce pre-made because there is always onions and garlic in it. I may never have to make my own again! Are any of your sauces gluten free?

I have found RAO's Marinara sauce to be the best store bought sauce. It is as close to homemade as you can get. i have been using for years and it continue to be consistently fantastic.

So far, this is the best sauce I have every bought and I plan to stick with it. I do get compliments when I serve this either as pizza or on tp of spaghetti.
