There are many ways to do this, but Vicks Rapid Read thermometer is to me the fastest and most accurate. Easy to use and from a trusted name like Vicks, you can't go wrong.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this just in time for the Flu to run through my family. It got some good use. It has three settings for oral, under arm or rectal for babies. It has a large screen and is super easy to read results. It says it renders temperature in 2 seconds but seems to take 3-4 seconds. Still super quick! The battery is easy to replace and uses a common size battery.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect thermometer for my family. We only use it orally, but it also can be used under arm or rectally. Just be sure to not use it again orally after you have used it rectally. The tip is flexible and small, so it would be comfortable if used rectally. In order to use it, you press the power button. Then, you toggle between the different parts of the body by pressing the blue button until the area you want to measure is shaded on the display drawing of a person. Then you insert the thermometer. It only takes a second to get a reading. I have found this thermometer to be quite accurate. The numbers are big and easy to read. Highly recommended.

I like that it gives you different options how you can use it as it's easier to use it orally with my 7 year old but with my baby the oral method is not as easy. This way I don't need to buy different thermometers and can use one in different ways

As far as I can tell, it has been fairly accurate in the measurements. I also appreciate that the digital screen is very clear and easier to read than most other thermometers, so I don't have to question whether I read something correctly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to like this digital rapid read thermometer. It really does read you temperature fast. It has great features like choosing g where to use it. You have three options. The reason it’s not great to me is it doesn’t read your temperature correctly. It reads two to three degrees higher than your actual temperature. I tested it against two I already have at home both of which are two different brands and two different types of thermometers and they read almost identical to each other and a lower temperature than this Vicks one. I really like this one but I can’t trust it to be accurate.

I love having multiple ways to use the same device: under the tongue, under the arm or for babies rectally. It's pretty handy having that flexibility. Don't have any major complaints about it. It tells me when my child is running a fever and that's all that matters

Has 2 buttons, power button and the one that indicates which body part the thermometer will be used. It has a flexible tip and the readings are large enough to read. The downside is that the readings are not consistent. This is unfortunate because that is the purpose of a thermometer. Some differences I encountered were minimal and some average about half a degree. If this thermometer was bought you have to do multiple readings to make sure.

We beat it for 2 years, but were all diagnosed with it 5 days ago. I like how quick and easy this thermometer is to use, and I feel that it gives a precise accurate reading. The sleeves have came in handy until 3 more that I have ordered arrive, so we each have our own. Our old thermometer had broken, and I panicked until I remembered that I had received this one. It couldn't have arrived at a better time with a name we know and trust!
