        I'm only doing this because I LOVE(d) the product. Within the last 6 months the mac and cheese has gone through changes. First off, I'm not sure how the American version differs from the Canadian, but it's not as good as it used to be. I see the ingredients listing "Bellavittano" and "Romano" cheeses, I do not recall them previously. To the point, the product is not as cheesey and quite frankly has the consistency of leftover mac and cheese. I hope I'm not the only one that has noticed the change, but I've been a Stouffer's Macaroni & Cheese addict for a long, long time, and it simply isn't the same.

        I grew up eating this, even remember when the container was metal. This was one of my all time favorite comfort foods, but I’ve noticed for a while now that it doesn’t cook the same (both traditional oven & microwave), has a different texture, color, smell, and taste. The “secret” tang is gone, and I couldn’t be sadder about it. I used to rave to others how fantastic your Mac & cheese was, but I won’t be buying it again. Tonight’s package could only be made edible by generously adding Parmesan. I vaguely recall the recipe having dry mustard - maybe that was the tang - but the ingredients don’t list that now. Then I searched the internet & found many many sad reviews/comments about the change beginning about 6 years ago…along with many denials from the company. Well, clearly the recipe and/or the quality of ingredients and/or the production has changed! Not for the better. Why do this to one of your most successful well known products?! I’m so deeply disappointed.

        I've been buying your Mac and cheese for years. And bragged to people that it was the cheesiest creamy Mac and cheese on the market. Had the best cheese flavor for being Frozen. But I've noticed a change, it isn't creamy anymore almost dried out even straight out of the oven. The flavor has completely changed. It is sad that a company feels they have to new and improve something when the fact is they are down grading their product with cheaper ingredients which leads to lesser sales. I'm sad to say I will be trying to find another brand that will be my new product because Stouffer's you have ruined the best thing you had and you have lost a long time customer..hate to see you go but quality is my main objective. Never new and approve a product that is top of the line. You don't fix what ain't broken..

        I used to absolutely LOVE this mac and cheese. This was by far my favorite mac and cheese ever. But over the past year I have noticed a huge change in the quality. The cheese is watery and the noodles are chewy and seem to be undercooked. I'm very sad because I used to eat this at least twice per week and now I can barely force myself to eat a few bites. Something must have changed because I see so many other reviews like this, but the company keeps insisting they have changed nothing. I think Stouffer's really needs to explain this to their customers because too many people are saying the same thing. I will not waste my money on this product anymore unless it goes back to the original recipe.

        My sister and I have been having this forever and it is our favorite frozen dinner. Today I bought the individual size and after the first go in the microwave I could tell something was off. The noodles looked smaller and the sauce seemed too oily of liquidy. I put it in for the the remaining three minutes and gave it 2 minutes to sit to make sure it would set. Sure enough it's still liquidy. However this isn't the problem. The problem is the taste. It's somehow weaker. It looks like the sauce has changed like you tried to add grated cheese? Im not sure but something is off. It's not the worse I've ever had, but it's not up to it's usually standards. My sister and I are extremely disappointed in this.

        We are not alone...our family has noticed within the last couple of months...consistently the cheese is runny.....what's up.....our family is so disappointed in the quality of our once loved mac and cheese by stouffer's that we have to look for another brand.....my family thought is was our microwave and the way it is cooking it.........but we are not alone......after reading other reviews on the cheese being runny....it took at least half dozen paper towels to clean up the soupy cheese on the microwave dish....please reconsider the change you have made to your cheese...it's a MAJOR PROBLEM !!!!!

        We buy this product all of the time as our kids will only eat your Mac & Cheese. The last two times I have cooked the product following the same microwave directions I have had a huge mess to clean up as the film is not holding on the side. A good portion of the cheese sauce is spilling out. We buy the 40 oz size and have always cooked it this way. When I attempt to peel the film back, as directed to stir before the second heating, it is tearing badly. It never used to do this. If changing the film/packaging was a recent modification please reconsider as it makes the product much less desirable.

        I just googled this to find out what happened to my Stouffer's Macaroni & Cheese and see numerous people have the same issue. Cheese sauce tastes terrible, no cheese taste at all! What really bothers me is I see someone answering the bad reviews, acting surprised and pretending they didn't change anything in the recipe. Not buying again.

        Yuck! I used to *love* this creamy, cheesy dish and pray for stomach flu so I could justify eating it for days on end. But now the cheese is grainy, gummy, flat-tasting, and leaves a nasty film in your mouth. It doesn't microwave well any more - now it's clumpy and uneven rather than the nicely melted, velvety texture it used to have. I don't know what the heck you did to it, but when so many formerly satisfied mac'n'cheese lovers are telling you that they can tell there's something wrong with it, PLEASE LISTEN TO US! CHANGE IT BACK!

        My husband and I buy this all the time! It's excellent, easy and a quick addition to any meal. We'll buy a rotisserie chicken and serve mac and cheese and a veggie on the side and it's an easy week night meal. HIGHLY recommend!!
