      Directions

      Heating Instructions (Appliances vary, heating times approximate): Skillet (preferred): Place frozen sausages in a preheated skillet over medium heat. Turning them often. About 8-10 minutes. Thawed sausages ready in 5-6 minutes. Microwave: Place sausages on a paper towel on a microwave-safe plate. Do not cover. Set microwave to medium heat (high heat toughens sausages). Heat as follows: 3 Sausage: 1-1/2 min. 6 Sausage: 2-1/2 min. 9 Sausages: 3-1/2 min.

      Keep frozen.

        We have been eating these sausage for years and I buy multiple boxes at a time to always have them in our freezer. My son refuses to eat them now and I am choking down the ones left in our freezer. The texture is spongy and doesn't taste like real meat. This is so disappointing since our gluten free family has so few options.

        I have been buying these for years as my go to breakfast protein and suddenly have found that my last two bags have had bone fragments in the sausage as well as more fatty pieces than ever. Seems like a change was made to cut down on meat. I never have had this issue before. I will no longer be buying these, so disappointing for the price.

        I used to love these!! The chicken maple, the chicken sage, the chicken apple. Something changed recently and they all taste like cardboard.         I am SO disappointed that a brand I trusted changed the recipe of this breakfast sausage. It is no longer delicious at all.         I Loved this sausage so much, I ate it every for years. One day a few months ago, I warmed it up in the microwave, took it out and ate one of the sausages. I was chewing it and then something hard, a BONE. I stoped eating that box and thought maybe if I tried it again i would have a different experience. Nope. Tried it again. Nope, still bones. I have stopped eating it ever Since and just thought of leaving a review of my experience. Do not buy this unless you like bones in your sausage. Kids won't eat it anymore, sadly.

        The recipe change, though perhaps slight by processing standards, has turned a breakfast staple to something my family won't eat. I'm unhappy to say we will have to be buying an inferior quality product to replace the premium taste and texture of the old recipe. While I'm not as discerning as my kids, even I didn't care for the change and found them to be not worth the calories. As a mother of picky eaters, I would have appreciated a packaging change or notice to indicate the new recipe. Now I have 3 boxes that will go uneaten. Disappointed and discouraged.

        My kids used to eat this sausage practically every morning. I recently bought a new box and realized they looked different. I gave them to my kids and they couldn't even swallow it. The texture is weird, the taste is weird - all together bad. I do NOT recommend. Please go back to the old recipe!
