Preparation Directions: You Will Need: 1 package Essential Everyday gelatin dessert; 2 cups boiling water; 2 cup cold water. Standard method: 1 in medium bowl, add boiling water to gelatin mix; stir 2 minutes or until completely dissolved. 2 stir in cold water. Place in desired container or mold. 3 refrigerate 4 hours or until desired firmness. Quick Method: 1 in medium bowl, add 1-1/2 cups boiling water to gelatin mix; stir 2 minutes or until completely dissolved. 2 fill a 4-cup liquid measuring cup with 1 cup cold water; add enough ice cubes to equal 2-1/2 cups. 3 stir into gelatin until slightly thickened. Remove any unmelted ice. Place in desired container or mold. 4 refrigerate 30-90 minutes or until desired firmness. To Add Fruit or Vegetables: 1 prepare according to package directions; once gelatin is thickened, but not set, add 1-1/2 – 3 cups of desired chopped and drained fruit or vegetables. 2 refrigerate until desired firmness is reached. Note: do not use fresh or frozen pineapple, kiwi, gingerroot, papaya, figs or guava. Gelatin will not set. Store in a cool, dry place.
