    First off, besides the obvious time saving and less work, the best surprise about this sauce is it actually has flavor. I've tried other jarred sauces and always found myself adding more garlic, Italian seasoning or a tablespoon or two of pesto. This sauce actually has a great balanced flavor. Add that flavor to the creamy texture and it grabs nicely onto the pasta and your tastebuds too. I did add a garnish of shredded Parmesan and some diced tomatoes on top, but I do that to my own homemade sauces and it's not only habit, but I'm big on making sure each of the colors of the Italian flag are represented in my Italian dishes. It's tradition! It's definitely worth the purchase to save the time and energy. You'll still walk away with a great tasting meal and have time to visit with friends and family. Enjoy that glad of Chianti and let someone else do the work.

    I have to preface my review by saying my family is Italian, we eat tons of pasta, and we can cook delicious sauce with our eyes closed- so I am quite picky and snooty about jarred pasta sauce. With that said, I can say I've been turning to jarred sauce for quick additions to recipes, or a SUPER easy dinner when I don't have time to do it all from scratch and I have hungry mouths to feed after school! I grabbed this one and served it with tortellini- cheese for the kids and sausage/romano for my husband and I. It was SO flavorful, and JUST the right consistency for the tortellini. I would definitely keep it served over something hearty- spaghetti seems like to plain because the sauce is fairly simple. I think a good shaped pasta would be best to pick up the sauce and get you all the flavor. I stand corrected- this Bertolli jarred pasta sauce is a success!

    I never tried Bertolli sauces before but I was in a jam and the kids were hungry for some pasta. I chose the garlic Romano with the aged Parmesan cheese because it looks good - I was really surprised not only did I like it and the kids my husband asked if it was homemade. I love how fresh tasting it was and creamy it's stuck to the pasta really well not like some sauces that just run off the pasta.

    I'm pretty fussy about alfredo sauce because it's so easy to make yourself so I don't typically buy it pre-made. I love garlic and I love alfredo but somehow I've never thought to make garlic alfredo myself. I've tried bertolli's tomato based sauces before and like them so I was expecting to like this one too and I was not disappointed. As far as jared alfredo sauce goes this is one of the best I've ever tasted. It has a texture beyond just congealed and you can really taste the garlic. I'm absolutely going to try and make my own garlic alfredo sauce after I've tried this but my kids like this so much I think I might keep some in the pantry for quick access on a day I don't feel like cooking. We had it with cheese tortellini and it was a huge hit. I also like the recyclable glass bottle without a bunch of weird crevasses that can be hard to get products out of to clean. Overall I was surprised how much I like this and would happily eat it again.

    I have heard of Bertolli sauce before, but up until now had never tried it. I must say that Bertolli Garlic Alfredo sauce is super delicious. I love cooking Alfredo, but have never found a good alfredo sauce. I can honestly say, Bertolli has hands down the best Alfredo sauce. The taste is very indulgent and authentic. I like that the sauce is creamy, thick, and very savory. The sauce really coats the pasta well too which is very important. You can taste all the flavors of the cheese and the garlic vividly. The romano and parmesan are very distinct as well as the garlic, and go together beautifully. I would definitely buy this sauce again and again in the future. I would also recommend to others that want a real alfredo sauce thats quick and easy.

    Tonight I made some ravioli and decided to use my Bertolli Garlic sauce with it. First off, this is a VERY garlicky sauce. I am a garlic lover and it was almost too garlicky for me but other than that the seasoning was tasty. I appreciated that this sauce was not too thin and watery as some other sauces I've had. All in all, it is a tasty sauce and would work well paired with many dishes. I just wouldn't suggest it if you have any aversion to garlic.

    This is my first experince with Bertoli Garlic Romano Aged Parmesan Sauce. For a store made Alfredo sauce it was alright. The parmesan and romano flavors were apparent but not strong like you expect in an authentic alfredo. The sauce was much thinner than I like. Even with letting it simmer quite a while, it did not thicken to my liking. It was too watery, thin for what I like. I tasted the sauce as is, straight from the jar after simmering a bit. I did not care for it. My children did not either. It was, as I said, thin, watery, weak flavored. I did add fresh grated parmesan with a little corn starch to add flavor as well as thicken. I also added some sasonings and it was rather delicious. As a starter base for an Alfredo it is a good product to experiment with. As an Alfredo as is, I would not use it. I'll give a recommend as it has potential.
