Started My Day With A Smile

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really LOVED this Sweet Earth Big Sur breakfast burrito. It was filling and there was no mess cooking it. I was happy to see that it had a lot of protein with both tofu and seitan. I didn't even snack until lunchtime!

        Just an okay option

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hate to be so blunt, but the Big Sur Breakfast Burrito was bland and mushy. On he bright side, it is heavy enough to sit in your stomach and fill you up when you are on-the-go, or you only have 2 minutes to get out the door. I do appreciate the clean, vegan ingredients, but even a liberal dousing of hot sauce could barely save it. Needs a lot more robust, zesty flavor, and a more substantial texture....

Still not something I like #ad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second time I've trialed this burrito and it's still not an item I enjoy very much. This is the only flavor I can get at a store near me and is not something I would normally choose. I don't care for the textures or the smoke flavoring, and the burrito is more mushy than the photo would have you believe. I eat vegetarian burritos frequently, but this one is not one I can recommend. Free sample received in exchange for my honest review.

        Looks nothing like the picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Big Sur breakfast burrito and was very disappointed. The picture on the package looks amazing. But the product inside is just a jumbled mash of ingredients. The taste is bland and unappealing. On the bright side, the burrito has 18 grams of protein, is vegan, and non-gmo. Although I wasn't impressed by this product, it may be more more appealing to those who routinely eat this type of food.

Unedible - I used to love this burrito

I've noticed since Sweet Earth was bought terrible changes in flavor. I just bought the Big Sur and literally cannot eat this thing. Throwing it out. All I can find now in the stores in the Baja and it's not what it used to be but I'm still able to eat it.

What happened?? They are now horrible!
        Reviewed on November 3, 2023 by Sasha444 on Nestle’s goodNes.com
I used to like these and the latest batch I purchased was like dried cardboard. Flavorless. I literally had to gulp it down with water it was so dry. I literally chewed it for z5 minutes and it never broke down. Large chunks of unseasoned tofu. I don’t know what you changed but change it back. I definitely won’t be buying the Big Sur ever again.

        New Recipe
Reviewed on October 3, 2023 by asdJoe on Nestle’s goodNes.com
These used to be my favorite burritos. I guess because they were switching over the recipe, they were hard to find for a while. The new ones have seeds in the tortilla and the sauce is definitely more noticeable. Not a fan :(

        New Recipe is Repulsive
Reviewed on September 24, 2023 by JWGatze on Nestle’s goodNes.com
I bought the original recipe Big Sur for breakfast 4 days a week and the new recipe doesn't compare. The weird seasonings used make them taste like off-brand bologna and the gluten free wrap option is even worse. What I can only imagine is a cost-cutting measure has ruined a perfectly palatable product and made it serviceable as shoe-leather.

        Bring back the old receipe!
Reviewed on September 21, 2023 by DisappointedVeggieFan on Nestle’s goodNes.com
I used to LOVE this burrito when it was the old recipe- I would have it several times a week. It was the perfect vegetarian, low cholesterol, high protein breakfast and the taste was SO GOOD. The new recipe is so disappointing- the old flavor and potato emphasis is gone, the texture is just really blech, and it leaves a sour, unpleasant aftertaste. I stopped buying as soon as the new one came out. Would be thrilled for the recipe to be reimagined again to make it more like the original (but keep the flaxseed tortilla!)... please?

I have been eating the Big Sur breakfast burritos for years. They were so good! This new recipe is just disappointing. It’s not terrible, but it’s not great. I definitely miss the old recipe. :(

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Big Sur Breakfast Burrito, it had a great taste and healthy. I loved the flax seed burrito, red peppers, potatoes, and even the tofu. I had never tried tofu before, and I have to say, it was surprisingly good. I have been working on going vegan/plant based for a healthier lifestyle. This type of breakfast makes it much easier to adjust with great tasting food. I will be buying it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that the frozen sections of the store are starting to fill with more options for plant based eating. I tried the General Tso's entree bowl and the tofu in it was very flavorful. The portions were plenty and comparable to other frozen entrees.
