In the process, some of the Ghee’s milk solids caramelize, leaving behind hints of sweetness and roasted nuts. This organic clarified butter is lactose free and casein free. With a high smoke point, Ghee is a great cooking butter over high heat, including sautéing, frying, roasting and baking. Substitute Ghee for oil or organic butter in your favorite recipes, drizzle it over popcorn, or try adding it to your morning coffee for a nutrient boost. Organic Valley Ghee comes in a capped container that is shelf stable for easy storage.
